The Newcomer Network

Welcome to Newcomer Narrative's new program!

Seeing the importance of peer-to-peer connection and social interaction as part of the transition process, we started the Newcomer Network. This is a program that will work as a buddy system, where a newcomer student will be paired with an experienced student to help with basic needs and be a resource whenever needed.

In this, I hope that both students and buddies will feel more inclined to join more activities and feel more involved in their community. This is a program started at Nikki's high school, however if you are interested in starting one at your school, please email newcomernarratives@gmail.com.
